About Kava.Miami

Kava.Miami is an independent guide to the kava bars of South Florida, from Miami up the coast to Jupiter.

It started as a side project to support a scene worth supporting. Kava bars give people somewhere to go at night that isn't built around alcohol: a place to meet friends, study, play board games, hear live music, or just sit somewhere that feels like a third place between home and work.

How the guide works

Every bar gets the same free listing: what it's like, what to order, and how to get there. No bar pays to be listed or ranked, and we don't run ads.

We don't publish star ratings. Google reviews change every week, so each listing links straight to the bar on Google Maps, where you'll find current reviews and hours.
